Moving on from Foundation, Year One sees a continuation of lots of practical play learning activities, coupled with an introduction to the more formal side of learning, to give children the skills they need to tackle their SATs in Year 2.

 

We cover a range of exciting themes, ranging from discovering all about themselves, finding out about Barnaby Bear and his special visit to meet the Ndebele Tribe in South Africa, to making a special Year 1 visit to the seaside at Walton, where we investigate the beach and make a visit to the Coastguard Station.
