I have been a governor at Parsons Heath for 20 years, firstly as a Parent Governor and in recent years as a Foundation governor representing the Parochial Church Council.

I have two grown up children who both attended Parsons Heath and have gone on to have successful careers.

I work full time for Essex County Council and they encourage all their employees to take time out from work to go into school for visits and attend meetings. I have recently attended a Governors’ Conference at Essex University where I took part in two workshops and met with other governors.

I am the Child Protection governor for the school and am also on the Personnel Committee. I have previously been involved in the appointment of headteachers and staff and have served on different committees during the time I have been a governor.
